Young Man from China (continued) He
arrived in Dallas on Sunday, December 13, 2009 for his craniofacial
reconstruction scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Children's Medical
Center. He is currently hosted in the United States by a generous
family where he has been awaiting his surgery.
Please keep This young man's surgery and recovery in your prayers. While
the surgery will be similar to other LEAP surgeries of Li Ying and
Alona, prayer is always a valued aspect of these surgeries.
Below you can see some of the technical aspects of the surgery. This
surgery has been performed virtually in advance of the actual surgery
itself, as displayed below in the video and technical illustrations.
Note, the video illustrating the surgery is without sound.
Special thanks to Nancy Hairston, President of MedCAD, for her excellent virtual video and modeling of this
surgery, which she graciously donated to LEAP.
